Makeup

As my flat-mate and I were driving to the airport this morning we got stuck going 55 behind a late 80's Chevy Astro van in the left lane on 170. As we made our way to the right to exit Burke remarked "She's putting on her make-up!". Why is it that women (Not being sexist here) think that they can safely navigate traffic while putting on makeup? Its bad enough in town, but on the highway? Driving a car with a perilously high center of gravity and an abhorrent rate of fatalities in roll-over accidents? Is it that hard to get up 10 minutes earlier so that there is adequate time to apply powder, lipstick and mascara in front of a stationary mirror? Woman Putting On Make-up is number five on the most dangerous drivers to cyclists after Dump Trucks, Insecure iIn Their Masculinity Men In Elevated Pick-ups, Soccer Moms in SUV's and Ghetto Cars. When did it become ok to be a selfish ass in this country? Did I miss a memo or something? I recall being taught that when driving one should pay attention to driving, for no just my sake, but everyone else's.

Sorry about the lack of posts. I was putting on my make-up.

Just so long as you didn't run over anybody. FYI, I got the memo I will try to find it so I can forward it along.
